All of the photos were taken with a large format camera. The negative size is many times larger than from a 35 millimeter camera. They are fade resistant photos and not digital printouts. The fade resistance of all photographic paper has greatly improved in the last couple years. They will last at least 50 years in normal lighting now. The clarity, resolution, and color of these genuine photos is the best you will see.

I take the pictures, do the developing, and framing myself. This eliminates the middle man which would only raise the prices to you. I have been in this business since 1992. The photos are permanently mounted to foam board and the matboards are glued to each other and to the foam board. The matboards are acid free with non yellowing bevel cuts. The photos are double matted with 1/4" showing on the inner mat. I recommend a darker color for the inner mat. I use a combination of 8 mat colors that match my scenic photos well. White goes well with anything and when large companies order many pictures they usually end up with a white main mat and the inner mat color to match the photo.

The panoramic (rectangular) sizes have a 2 1/2" wide mat, the classic semi-square pictures have a 4'' wide mat, and the 3 piece pictures use a 3" wide mat. The 3 piece pictures have no mat where they run together but they are well reinforced with spacers in that area. The picture size is always the same as the frame size. The matted photos are all glued together and come in plastic shrink wrap. All photos are glossy finish.

11x14" Framed $35, or matted $20. Shipping is $10 for framed and $6 for matted.

15x28" (Panoramic) Framed $80, or matted $50. Shipping is $10 for framed and $6 for matted.

20x40" (Panoramic) Framed $160, or matted $85. Shipping is $19 for framed and $13 for matted.

22x28" Framed $110, or matted $65. Shipping is $17 for framed and $8 for matted.

26x32" Framed $150, or matted $85. Shipping is $19 for framed and $13 for matted.

37x49" Framed $300, or matted $225. Shipping is $35 for matted photos only.

26x80" Three piece pictures $375, or matted $300. Shipping is $30 for framed and $20 for matted.

LOOSE PHOTOS; I rarely sell loose photos and have decided not to sell them at all. (except for the 8x10"; see IMAGE USE AND RIGHTS) They often get ruined due to use of heat and/or vacuum in the mounting process or get kinks (little light catching bends) in them by improper handling. If you want to use fancy matboards from a frame shop I will sell them mounted on foam core backing for 10% less than the matted photos. Shipping is the same as matted photos.

FRAMES; All the frames are the same except the one for the little 11x14" is slightly shallower. They are Neilson # 15 one inch deep, brushed look sides, and pewter color. Of course you can buy the pictures matted and have them framed with a fancy wood frame, etc

MATBOARD COLORS; The matboards are acid free with non-yellowing bevel cuts. The colors I normally use are; Black, arctic white (slightly off white but match the snow and water in the photos), off white (doesn't match whites in photos), tan, light tan, Newport blue (dark blue; close to navy blue), delft blue (a dark purple-blue that goes with the sunset/sunrise shots), forest green (dark green which goes with the foliage in the photos), light green, maroon, dark gray, and sable (very dark brown). The colors I normally use on the 1/4" inner mat are; black, sable, forest green, delft blue, Newport blue, maroon, and dark gray.

SHIPPING; Shipping is FED-EX. No need to worry about damage. I have been making my own heavy duty boxes for 12 years and have not had any damage for many years. Shipping glass is no problem. FED-EX guarantees against damage to $100. If glass breaks or matted photos get crushed, etc., they are usually a total loss. This is very rare but I would send another picture exactly the same with no picture return required, and no questions asked. Normally I will ship within 24 hours if photo is in stock. 90% of photos are in stock. Allow up to 5 days more if I have to make one. Shipping prices are approximately what they charge me to ship directly from FED-EX. This is an average of different distances in the U.S. I don't charge you for the labor and materials. There is no extra charge for multiple matted photos. There is a 20% charge for each extra framed photo (for the weight).

SHIPPING OUT OF U.S.A.; Overseas shipping must be done with a credit card. Due to varying prices that I can't keep up with, I would take your order, debit the card, take the package to U.S.P.S., find out the lowest shipping price with reasonable time allowances, ship and return to debit card again for shipping.

IMAGE USE AND RIGHTS; If you use my FREE low resolution website images online a link to my site saying; www.oregonscenics.com must be near the picture. There are infringement laws regarding the printing and use of professional images. The use of the low resolution images on my site are ONLY FREE FOR USE ONLINE and with the link as described. The 20 megabyte files on CD below are for sale and can be used for anything you wish, as many times as you wish, and as long as you wish.

STOCK PHOTOS; For $50 you can buy a digital file of an image on a TDK brand CD. The files are 20 megabytes (10 for the panoramic size). They are TIFF file scans from an 8x10" photo which was taken originally from a large format film camera (Very large original film). They have been corrected in the darkroom for contrast and color. (No extra computer time in Photoshop). The image files will output 300 DPI at 8x10" (at least). The quality of a print-out with a good printer and paper is difficult to distinguish from the original photo. The files are uncroped, unaltered, and uncompressed. These images can be used for anything you wish except for mass producing posters or framed wall decor. There are no usage restrictions. Accompanied with the file will be a signed usage agreement.
